Bruce the Traitor

It isn’t his unwillingness to do the right thing and resign his post as Prime Minister.

It isn’t his arrogance in defying the will of the people of this country.

It isn’t his supporters throwing their weight behind and obviously corrupt Prime Minister.

It isn’t about the fact that he lied to the people of this country.

Hell, Not even the fact that him tek we fi eediat, bout he acted as the head of the JLP and not the guvament.

It is that this man has pissed on the people who voted for him, pissed on the reputation (what’s left) of this country, pissed on all himself, pissed on you, and pissed on me, all for the sake of one shit house, battyhole, piece of shit, drug trafficking murderer inna Tivoli.

The Prime Minister has fucked over the country for political expediency, and now that his utter shame and disgrace is out in the open, further denigrates the office he clutches on to by not only refusing to resign but in displaying arrogance at defying the will of the very people he has betrayed.

This guvament which had never spared any opportunity to point out how corrupt the previous PNP admin was in their eighteen years at the helm, has seemingly, to all astonishment, eclipsed the fucked-upedness we endured for so long.

If you don’t agree with me, let me ask you, how much better does Portia look now compared to how you felt about her in 2007?

The revulsion you had for her has somewhat diminished hasn’t it?

What the hell does Dudus have over the JLP?

Why can’t the guvament do what it knows is right, and allow the criminal to be brought to justice?

Bruce has betrayed the people by lying to us, about the Mannat issue, he continues to betray the country by arrogantly refusing to apologize and resign, and ultimately bruce has betrayed any little trust the people of this country have ever had  in him as a person.

QUIT NOW ASSHOLE!

Leave!

I fail to see why there is even any question of whether or not Sharon Hay-Webster should keep her seat.

She has dual citizenship, she was therefore not eligible to run for a seat in parliament, her opponent (providing no dual citizenship himself) should automatically be given the seat.

That is based on the constitution, but the JLP had their friends in the judiciary declaring the election null and void therefore requiring a by-election, totally ignoring the constitution which sees a candidate with dual-citizenship as not suitable to run and therefore making it a one horse race. This now sets up a situation where they all seem like hypocrites calling for the very same thing they are fighting against (the Constitution), declaring their situation to be different.

It ain’t.

She should go, along with all others who have enjoyed being “better” than the rest of us with their US passports.

No question at all, except in how much power the parties retain.

Justice Takes A Backseat

Regardless if one believes that former Junior Minister of Energy, Kern Spencer, is guilty, there is one thing you all should realize; Rodney Chin, repentant co-conspirator or damned liar, is tainted as a witness.

There is no way that the testimony of a man who received 200 million dollars in contracts from the guvament, shortly after becoming the main witness for the prosecution, can be fully and wholeheartedly accepted by any sensible person.

There may not have been any laws broken, despite no provisions for it in the laws of Jamaica, but at its most basic, it smell wrong. Everyday in this world there are very wrong things done, yet are not illegal, but violates the trust that people foster in those individuals or institutions.

Rodney Chin can not be trusted, not anymore.

If they go ahead with this, then the “Justice” clamored for regularly on the nightly news, will not be gracing this island anytime soon.

The DPP’s refusal to disclose all surrounding their deal stinks also. If there was nothing to hide, nothing to cover up, then give the defense what they have requested and get on with the damned trial. Let his guilt be made clear, if he is in fact guilty, but just let it be over with quickly.

Paula Llewellyn seems as if she starting to let her power get to her head, soon enough Bruce will have to axe her.

Can’t wait.

I Wish My MP Had Dual-Citizenship Too!

So the guvament won another buy-election, big deal. It was very clear with the flurry of activity in improving the constituency that the fix was in. And they were quite arrogant with it too, declaring that the PNP bad mind because they didn’t want the people of the constituency to get anything done for them.

But their arrogance led to a bit of stupidity also, putting the name of their candidate on brand new garbage skiffs (where they even spelled his name wrong, Gergory), to show that it was thru him that these things were done.

So a few things to take away from this:

  1. The guvament in power will go to any lengths, including using state money, to shore up their advantage.
  2. All talk of Jamaicans becoming politically mature is premature, as last night’s buy-election barely managed to get half the electorate to vote.
  3. Political maturity is further scorned when voters are so licky-licky. Granted they needed the amenities very badly, and were probably showing their gratitude, but to think that elections are won in this way is disgraceful.
  4. The PNP, despite pursuing the dual-citizenship cases in the courts, are like headless chickens when the buy-elections are announced; scrambling for candidates and then having a lackluster campaign behind said candidate, notwithstanding their lack of access to state funds like the JLP has  they put no effort in even trying to win the damned things.
  5. I want the PNP to continue fighting these cases in court, because those with dual-citizenship are illegally occupying their seats as Members of Parliament, but if they are not going to give a good account of themselves then they are simply furthering the waste of the country’s money, money that the guvament says they do not have. (except for the hundreds of millions of Us dollars they are going to pump into Air Jamaica.)

I used to think that we deserve better than this but the licky-licky-ness of the electorate and the lackadaisical approach to campaigning of the opposition is changing my opinion.

sigh…

Then Do That Bruce!

sceptre_orb_crown

If you are going to request that the opposition leader and you come to some agreement to avoid the fallout from continued questions on dual citizenship, fine!

But to then make the veiled threat that you and your JLP cronies can move to amend the constitution and that you have the numbers to do it, shows not only your disdain for the laws of this land but the disrespect you show to the opposition and law-abiding Jamaicans.

If you can do that, then go right ahead and do it King Bruce!

Your will can be made law.

Save us, the people of Jamaica, from wasting our time in believing we had any say what-so-ever.

But when you do that, just remember that you wouldn’t then need a Governor General, elections or the trust of the people.

You can make your own laws as you go along.

Fassy!

The Buy-Election Is Over

money

After a well purchased victory, Vaz will now go back to parliament and his post as minister.

Nothing changes.

Bruce shows his disdain for the constitution once again about griping that the PNP was trying to “Constitutionally overthrow the government”.

If the constitution says you ought not be the guvament then you should get your ass out of there.

Until the constitution is changed, and as long as you are of the mind to obey the laws of the land, then you should do as the constitution demands.

When in opposition these same people harangued the then Prime Minister, P.J. Patterson, when he remarked: “The law is not a shackle”.

The JLP let him have it.

Mutty let him have it.

All JLP supporters let him have it.

Openly mocking and deriding him for his words, totally missing the nuance of his meaning.

Now, the JLP are gleefully living by Patterson’s words, and sparing no vehemence for being called on it.

The Law Isn’t A Shackle

hands-in-shackles

So the JLP got their way in the Dabdoub/Vaz affair.

Don’t let them fool you into thinking that it wasn’t for their benefit, this is exactly the outcome they were looking for, because the law was broken in their favour.

The constitution of Jamaica states that no one with allegiance to a foreign power may be eligible to run for or hold office. Vaz, therefore, was legally, not a candidate.

Disqualified!

Therefore since the JLP had no legitimate candidate to challenge Mr. Dabdoub then the seat should have gone to Mr. Dabdoub.

I wonder, with all the threats of a snap election if Dabdoub was awarded the seat as the constitution demanded, did the sure-to-occur political upheaval sway the judges opinion in the matter?

And also, were the JLP aware of the outcome of the ruling ahead of time, as their readiness to contest the by-election infers?

Wouldn’t be surprising, they have cronies everywhere.

Shahine Robinson, St. Ann MP, is another person who will not allow her self to be shackled by the law.

Painting public government property in party colours is a no-no.

Simple.

Government property is for the people of Jamaica, and not any one party. As much as it was troubling to see the previous guvament put the names of their friends all over bridges and roads and squares, so too is it troubling to see MPs flouting the law and branding public property in the colors of their party. It is something they would not have stood for and therefore is something they themselves should not do.

But they have the power….

Ernie!

MP Smith seems to have a very deep and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the gay community.

He must!

How else despite all credible studies, would he ‘know’ how violent they are and how overrun the police force is by the homosexuals.

Please Ernie share with us the evidence of your words, enlighten our ignorance.

Or is it all another case of this guvament spouting fantasy with no regard to truth?

I am sure that when people are being brutally relieved of their lives that they are not damning the homosexuals in society, for two reasons.

  1. Homosexuals do not represent anything but a small percentage of the population. So saying that they are responsible for most domestic violence is absurd.
  2. Ernie Smith is an idiot!

Now, after having to apologize to the police force, he is now seemingly incapable of realizing how stupid he sounds and is now attacking a constitutionally granted right for people with a common interest to associate and organize.

sigh…

But hey, Bruce don’t like the constitution, so we can see where he gets his inspiration.

Bwoy(s) A Yard!

little_rascals

Number 1.

What a way the man a yaad haffi backtrack on the increased interest rates?

Eediat!

If you say that raising the interest rate is necessary to keep the economy afloat or even to improve the economic outlook, that’s fine.

But if you are going to take it back as soon as people gripe about the increase then it says to me that your original decision was a hasty, un-researched one that you pulled out of your ass, and the reason given was a lie!

And I bet Audley nor the guvament is going to understand the logic.

Who cares?

It is quite obvious to those with sense that these people have no clue as to governance, good or bad, but damn they still campaigning and not as good as they were before the elections.

The next Bwoy is the prime Bruce himself.

After coldly dismissing the PSC last year and pretty much accusing them of violating protocol, and being very adamant and forthright with the accusations and their firing, he now settles out of court  when they bring forward a lawsuit to restore their besmirched integrity.

Did the crow taste good Bruce?

Man, Sangster is a bitter bitch!

Bwoy #3.

Trevor.

Trevor, Trevor, Trevor.

You just over deh a warm de seat, don’t it?

I am sure you feel good after your speech the other night but it was not much comfort to the residents of Gravel Heights and the many other good citizens who have also been forcibly removed from their homes.

Ok, the good people have been run out, means that is only the gunman dem lef’ in deh, so what dat means is:

a) The police and military can now surround the area.

b) Announce their presence and demand everybody still in the community to put down their guns and surrender by a certain time.

c) If not, the security forces move in and shoot the lot of them.

Not too hard, right?

Sure Gomes and her bredrin dem a go feel a way, but remember you work for the people of this country and not  the special interest groups. Those people who worked so hard to build their lives and now have to abandon it, I can pretty much guarantee that right now, they are wondering where is the justice for them, what about their human rights.

The 4th Bwoy.

Mike!

How you feel now that it is revealed you threw a state funeral (while cheapening it at the same time) for a man now revealed to be a crook and no good?

Before you say, that at the time you didn’t know about his shady character, you should have asked the employees of the JUTC what sort of person he was.

Hell many were happy to see him murdered.

But you wouldn’t know this because you all, are oblivious as to what is going on at street level.

Bwoy of the Fifth.

Pickersgill, thank you for doing your work as the opposition to press for investigations into the JUTC’s shady dealings, but mek me ask Yuh sumting, why de rass when you was in guvament you never was as vigilant on corruption?

Right now Yuh is a rass hypocrite.

How unnoo so blind when unnoo inna power but Yuh eye dem get perfect when Yuh inna opposition?

But I shouldn’t be surprised, both sides do dem job when dem in opposition but get blind as dem get inna guvament.

Assorted bwoys.

Daryl. Constitutionally you are to give up the seat. But mi understand, Bruce never liked the Jamaican constitution one bit.

Abe. A by-election not go hurt anybody. In fact if you do win it (good possibility as the approval rating of the JLP stinks) then nobody can say shit like: “you used the courts to get seat”.

Clive. It looks like the small majority the JLP have in parliament is what is keeping you in your ministry, hush.

Mark Wignall. Perhaps you should let Clovis know how things really look bad for the guvament so he can start lampooning them too, Butch be damned!

Me (We). I thank God I do not own a gun (even though Wignall says we should all have one) because some people need a shot or two. But I am an eediat too as are most Jamaicans, who don’t scream loudly enough, who don’t protest enough, who cower in the safety of anonymity, while our country goes to shit. We say that is for the sake of our loved ones that we keep our heads down, that it’s for their benefit.

Sure, in the short term.

But if we continue to allow the criminals and the guvament (both major parties, NDM is only a gathering) to screw us over like this, then in the long run we a go get jook!

Raise my children or put a target on my back, tough decision.

These should not be the only choice we have!

GREG CHRISTIE FOR PRESIDENT!

Ok.

Fine.

Jamaican constitution doesn’t allow for a president, but damn if it isn’t a most welcome sign to see someone actually carrying out their duty as described under the law.

Exposing the shady dealings at the JUTC, when the guvament has been most unfriendly to anyone who calls them out on matters of state, is much more than brave, it is honourable.

Come this morning (the 1st of December) we now hear that Mike Henry, Minister of Transport, is going to ask the Attorney General to investigate the Office of Contractor General for how the report was delivered to him.

Yuh see dis rass?!

More upset with how the report was delivered than the shady dealings described in the report, WTF?!?

Why?

Why are they threatening now to kill the messenger?

Is the Minister’s involvement deeper than first suspected?

I thought Bruce and the gang were anti-corruption?

instead they threaten people who expose the shady dealings happening under their watch.

Corruption happens when seemingly well meaning people turn a blind eye or excuse the seemingly little stuff.

Corruption happens when the people in charge believe that the previous set were more corrupt than they and so in terms of degree of corruption, since they are not as bad then they must not be corrupt.

Corruption happens when you will excuse your party for the same wrongs they other party did, by claiming the others “t’ief more!”

The PNP were scandal ridden, and man did they have their fair share of shady deals, but now the JLP must be trying to outdo them, as it is almost guaranteed that one new scandal a week will rear its ugly head.

The new report by the OCG implicates former head of the JUTC, Chambers.

Could the reason Mike Henry be so upset is that the rumours of Mr. Chambers being his son in law are true?

Or is it now embarrassment that they held a state funeral for a crook?

Her Decision

abortion_nazi

Using graphic images of late-term abortions to sway politicians into banning even the morning after pill is despicable.

Many will say that they are not talking about the morning after pill…but they will.

How many of you, right now, are convinced the morning after pill is abortion?

You may not think it is, but far too many do.

If men could get pregnant, abortion would be sacrosanct!

Milk for Tea… Really?…

Sigh…

Once again Butch’s Bitch published another cartoon making light of yet another important issue, i.e. the Contractor Generals objections to questionable procurement disregard.

True it may not have been his job to do what he did, as the Bruce clearly laid down on Tuesday, but in light of Kern Spencer’s court troubles, one would think that how the guvament’s money is spent would be taken seriously by all.

Now I am not saying that a poignant humorous take is not allowed, but such trivialization of the matter as “milk for tea”, was just bad.

I understand Clovis need to eat a food and that he needs to keep Butch happy, but his art is suffering for it.

Where is the merciless screwing of the guvament he was known for?

When did he become the biggest guvament ass kisser on the land?

If he really had the freedom to do as he wants then the idea of even taking away part of what nurses have to take home would have been justifiably ridiculed, but nothing was done on that.

Or the numerous “Jobs Jobs and More Jobs” that have been cut rather than added to.

Or how about the guvament’s seeming indifference to the JPS over charging customers? Omar Davies gets rightly ridiculed for having sold the JPS, but the guvament only seems willing now to take action after numerous protests and the ridiculous bills sent to customers, and they aren’t being taken to task for that?

The guvament ministers suck on to the athletes so much, one gets the feeling they hope some of the popularity would rub off on them.

Well hear what? Do your jobs, follow through on your promises, protect the people from the vicious criminals in the utility companies and from the gunmen and rapists, then you wouldn’t have to look popular, by then you would be popular.

Jamaicans only ever wanted public officials to make things fair to support their endeavours to provide security and to not live high off the taxes we pay them. Any guvament that respects those views will get my vote.

Any who behave as if it’s only a popularity contest deserves to be sent packing.

I take seriously any action to circumvent the procurement guidelines, as its my money and the money of the people of this country, and we have serious misgivings on any who would so trivialize the matter.

Give the Fox the keys to the Hen house?

So now Trevor and Wignall (of Butch’s Bitch) are on the dons in parliament wagon.

Their argument is that the dons are integral to a solution to the crime problem.

I agree.

Send these “dons” to prison, along with their cronies and toadies, and we’d be well on our way to solving the crime problem.

What sense does it make to have the criminals help determine what should be done with the criminals?

Have we given up on basic decency?

What sort of hopeless losers are we to cede so much power and influence to these criminals?

Criminals setting curfew in some areas, acting as de facto law and order in many communities in Jamaica, and rather than break their power structure down we should now give them the utmost legitimacy by allowing them to determine sections of the law?

We have become so scared and so desperate that we are willing to give the criminals more power over us so we don’t get shot, raped or robbed.

If this is where Jamaica is heading, if we really are going to turn over power to these john crows and if we really are going to let them influence the laws of this country, well stop waste time because they already are in control.

We want the people elected to high office to rid us of criminals, not legitimize them.

No more of this foolishness!

I’d rather be shot.

Constitution…again…

Danville Walks!

Great!

Until the constitution of this land is ammended, they must be adhered to. Calling it stupid, backward and outdated helps nothing. If you want change then engage your members of parliament and representatives. Stop sniping from the gutter like rats!

That being said, I still maintain that anyone seeking to hold public office in Jamaica MUST have only a Jamaican passport and no allegiance to any other country.

What the F@#$!!

Look, if the constitution says the man cannot keep the seat then he cannot keep the seat. If his dual citizenship is proven after the election then he should have done the honorable thing and move his backside out of the seat.

Now I hear jackasses calling for a change in the constitution, that it is a stupid law, blah blah blah.
It’s always stupid when it doesn’t work for you, but when it does you are quite allright.

Let all JLP & PNP Members of Parliament and for that matter anyone holding or wanting to hold public office, disavow themselves of all foreign allegiances, NOW! And if you currently hold a seat or office, Move you rass outta it!

No surprise that some are calling for a change in the constitution, Bruce has in the past clearly shown his disdain for the constitution of this land, but dressed his views up in modernization talk to make it more palatable. I am all for ammendments to the constitution, but no dual citizens should ever be able to run for office, ever, and until it’s changed, it must be adhered to.

P.S. Where does the Judge’s loyalty lie? with the people and the constitution of the country or was her decision colored by her close ties to the JLP?
