We Might Be In Deeper Doo-Doo

The same Jamaican farmers who are amazed with the efficacy of the cheap fertilizer, may be in deeper shit than they thought, with recent hints that using this fertilizer may jeopardize agreements with our European markets.

If this is true then the guvament frigged up badly.

Their rush to undercut Newport Fersan, may have also undercut future exports, exports that brings desperately needed money into the country, money we can ill afford to do without in these hard economic times.

I refuse to believe, that they would frig up this badly.

But if a so it really go, God help we for the rest of their term in office.

That’s Why it Smell so?!

YUM!

Eat up everybody, this shit is good fer you!

The metaphors abound.

Newport Fersan now has an excellent marketing opportunity: “Fersan fertilizer, totally not from the ass of man!

I want to trust that the science is sound and that the fertilizer is 100% safe, but my mind is somewhat unable to get past the fact that it originated from the water closets of many an American and is now incorporated into the food I eat. We can gripe about the origins of the fertilizer, but keep in mind that we do import lots of fruit and vegetables from the US, grown with the same fertilizer, and animal products, fed on grain grown with the same fertilizer. So if we are going to get all bent out of shape over the latest reveal, just keep in mind that it done gone bad already.

Now if the same public relations people who ran their election campaign was on board I am sure they would have suggested to the cassava-man that getting local scientists to test the fertilizer would have gone a long way in lessening the latest brou-ha-ha. Telling us that US scientists assured him that it is safe is foolish, you just know how Jamaicans ‘trust’ Americans.

Still, demanding that the rice-eater apologize for his remarks, for rhetoric intended to prey on your fears, is stupid.

That is the very same thing the JLP used to do when in opposition it’s what the opposition is supposed to do, voice the concerns of the people of this country, and not to allow the guvament to coast through their stewardship of the country.

The JLP sat back and idled out their time in opposition for many years, only becoming active in their role when elections neared.

I am glad that the PNP is being the thorn in the JLP’s backside, it does us all better when the guvament knows and understands when people disagree with them, when they mess up.

Perhaps we would be better off if the JLP was as vigorous in opposition.

Ironic how the guvament ministers are all up in arms that rice-eater apologize for preying on the fears of people, when they were silent when Ernie was doing the same thing with the homosexuality issue.

Hypocrites.

How long before the Ras dem lick out ‘gainst the shit-ilizer?
